This class nurtures creatively through imaginative, environment-inspired adventures. Students build gross motor skills, coordination, and body control while practicing foundational movements such as hopping on two feet, galloping, and marching. They also develop an awareness of how their bodies move through and relate to space.
In Creative Movement, students build confidence and self-esteem in a nurturing environment that encourages expressiveness and the exuberance of movement. Dancers develop greater control and coordination, while also strengthening listening, cooperation, and social skills through engaging, imaginative activities.

Pre-Ballet I is a 45-minute class transitioning students from playful activities to disciplined ballet study. Students begin to work on turnout and more complex movement patterns, building up to work at center and across the floor. The curriculum provides a strong link to the beginning levels of our Academy Division.

Enrollment is determined by age. Children should meet age requirements listed with each class offering by August 17, 2026. All classes for ages 2-7 meet once per week (with the exception of Pre-Ballet III). It is recommended children take two semesters of each class prior to moving up.
